 PU INK BINDER FOR GRAVURE PRINTING

1. Application and Characteristics
GM8088 is a one component high performance and retorting resistance polyurethane resin for gravure ink. It is suitable for different plastic films, it has high general purpose. It has excellent adhesion property on OPP, PET, NY and other films. The ink used this PU resin has the following characters:
a) Excellent heat and chemical resistance
b) Excellent retorting resistance
c) Excellent adhesion on different plastic films
d) Excellent non-yellowing property and light resistance
e) Excellent wetting ability for pigment
f) Excellent lamination peeling strength

3. Suitable Substrates
It is suitable for BOPP (Corona treated), PET, NY, CPP, PVDC and so on.

4. Compatibility
In general, GM8088 has demonstrated good compatibility with the resins, Vinyls, Cellulose acetate butyrate, Alkyd resins, Maleic resins, Epoxy resins, Vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer (VC/VAC, Vinyl Resin), Polyvinyl butyral and other aldehyde ketone resins. To some pigment, add GM8088 after grinding.

5. Solubility
It is soluble in the ester type, ketone type and aromatic hydrocarbons type solvents.
