Product Description
Flexibond 8101 is a two-component structural polyurethane sealant, which is mainly used for auto body adhesive of composite materials parts, such as SMC, BMC, RTM, FRP etc. and adhesion of metal materials. It is environmental friendly, contains no volatile solvents.
Characteristics:
(1) Good thixotropy, no sagging
(2) Cures fast under room temperature
(3) Excellent adhesion to substrates, high boding strength and impart resistance
(4) Excellent water, corrosion and weather resistance

Application Note:
The substrates should be clean and dry and of no grease, dust, or other contaminations. The substrates can be cleaned by alcohol or acetone. Polish is recommended if with aluminum and other difficult adhesion materials.
- Put the cartridge into the manual or pneumatic applicator gun.
- Remove the stopper at the top the cartridge, and screw the extrusion-type nozzle, and then cut the nozzle into a suitable shape and size according to your need.
- Start the applicator gun and give up the sealant for the first 20cm, then apply to the substrates or the place for sealing.
- Substrates have been coated with adhesive should be pressed within application time, ensure the fully coating of substrate, or the adhesion strength will be affected. Two or more workers are recommended
- Replace with new nozzle If stop extrusion more than application time, make sure smooth processing
- After application, put back the stopper with the left sealants, screw tight, sealing well
- Must use with primer before application
Cleaning:
Recommended Cleaner: Acetone, butanone.
Specification:
Flexibond 8100A: 20kg/drum, Flexibond 8100B: 20kg/drum. The package could be adjust according to the customer's need.
