 FILM FORMING TYPE PU INK BINDER

GM8208 is a one component high performance and retorting resistance polyurethane resin for gravure ink. It is suitable for different plastic films, it has high general purpose. It has excellent adhesion property on OPP, PET, NY and other films. The ink used this PU resin has the following characters:
a) Excellent heat and chemical resistance
b) Excellent retorting resistance
c) Excellent adhesion on different plastic films
d) Excellent non-yellowing property and light resistance
e) Excellent wetting ability for pigment
f) Excellent lamination peeling strength
g) Excellent performance on light cell printing
h) The printed ink is soft
i) Excellent soluble ability
j) Good stable storage ability

3. Suitable Substrates
It is suitable for BOPP (Corona treated), PET, NY, CPP, PVDC and so on.

4. Compatibility
In general, GM8208 has demonstrated good compatibility with the resins: Vinyls, Cellulose acetate butyrate, Alkyd resins, Maleic resins, Epoxy resins, Vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer (VC/VAC, Vinyl Resin), Polyvinyl butyral and other aldehyde ketone resins. To some pigment, add GM8208 after grinding.

5. Solubility
It is soluble in the ester type, ketone type and aromatic hydrocarbons type solvents.

6. Notice
a) If don't use up, please close it tightly, and avoid any sources of fire.
b) When closed to skin, take off polluted clothes and wash up all of the contaminants with soap and plenty of water.
c) When closed to eyes, wash eyes up with large amounts of water or normal saline. And find the doctor in time.

7. Packaging
18 kg/pail or 180 kg/drum

8. Storage
This product is flammable and explosive, so please put it in cool, dry, well-ventilated area. And it is must to pay enough attention on the thermal insulating, damp-proof and fire-proof during storage. Normally the shelf life is one year.
