One Component Polyurethane Adhesive for Panel Bonding (Flexibond 8010)
Description
Flexibond 8010 is a one-component moisture-cure polyurethane adhesive. It is solvent free and environmental friendly. The adhesive cures fast with the characteristics of good adhesion and excellent weather resistance. The product is widely used in various industries such as automobile, ship, refrigerator and many substrates (foam materials, honeycomb materials, plastic, sponge, metal, gypsum plate, PVC, etc).

Usages
Flexibond 8010 is especially applicable for bonding foam materials, honeycomb materials, plastic (e. g PVC), metal, building materials for large areas.

Process
Cleaning
Make sure that the surface is clean, dry and free of oil, grease dust and contaminants. Thoroughly remove all loose particles and dust. The surface can be cleaned with ethyl ester when necessary.
Application
(1) The adhesive can be applied with glue applicator or scraper and leveling beam. The consumption is around 100-300g/m2.Coverage rates depends on the surface of the substrates to be bonded.
(2) The material to be bonded should be laid in a short time (16min, 23ºC) after coating, and then to be pressurized cured.
(3) The adhesive is of one component moisture-cure, so its curing rate is affected by the humidity. The recommend temperature is 15-30ºC, humidity is 30%-80%.
(4) The adhesion effect can be improved if reasonably increase temperature, humidity and pressure.
(5) A little bit water can be sprayed onto the adhesive surface, in order to make curing faster.

Storage and Shelf Life
Stored in a cool and dry place (10-25°C is recommended). Avoid damage to the package. When stored at the recommended conditions in original, unopened containers, this product has a shelf life of 9 months.
Note
(1) The remaining adhesive cannot be used if viscosity appears too large or its state is like jelly.
(2) Do not apply the product together with other adhesive. Please enquire to our technicians if you have such a need.
